We welcome you to register for the annual Bridge Building Competition hosted by the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) and ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV. Register to build a bridge individually or as a group and see what your bridge design can handle! There are over $2,000 in prizes available! Find the registration form and more event details below.
Bridge Building Kits can be purchased online, beginning at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
The Bridge Building Competition will be live streamed via Microsoft Teams. Participants will receive the link the week of the event — and it will also be available on the event page.

Registration
Completed bridges must be dropped off by 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV at the Health and Wellness Centre Entrance at F Wing. There will be designated tables within the entrance. Please ensure your bridge is clearly labelled and your registration form is securely affixed to the bridge.
Divisions
Enter individually or as a group (up to 4) in one of four categories:
| Grades 4 and 5 | Elementary |
| Grades 6, 7 and 8 | Elementary |
| Grades 9 to 12 | Secondary |
| Open | General Public |
Bridge Building Kits
Participants must order their kits online through Eventbrite by visiting the link above.
Once your order is complete, you will be provided with a time to pick up your materials at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV at the Health and Wellness Centre F-Wing Entrance. Please allow for a couple days after your order for the preparation of the bridge building kit.
