This foundational course introduces students to the essential mathematical concepts and skills required in the skilled trades. Emphasizing practical application, this course covers arithmetic operations, fractions, decimals, percentages, measurement systems, basic algebra, and geometry - all within the context of real-world trade scenarios. Students will learn to interpret technical drawings, perform accurate measurements, and apply mathematical reasoning to solve problems commonly encountered in construction, manufacturing, electrical, plumbing and other trade environments.
