This course introduces students to the fundamentals of reading and interpreting plumbing blueprints and technical drawings. Emphasizing practical application, students will learn to navigate architectural and mechanical plans, identify plumbing symbols and specifications, and extract critical information related to piping systems, fixtures, and layout. The course also covers basic drafting techniques, including sketching and interpreting isometric and orthographic projections. Through hands-on exercises and real world examples, students will develop the skills needed to accurately plan, install and troubleshoot plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
